About College
Sri. J.C Diwakar Reddy the Chairman of J.C Diwakar Educational Society (Estd: 2016) started JCD Horticultural College in the Academic year 2017 with a view to provide excellence in horticulture education and extension services for sustainable development of Horticulture.
JCD Horticultural College is a Self-financed, Unaided Private Co-Education Institution established in 2017 at Juturu Village, Tadipatri (M), Anantapuramu district which is known as fruit bowl of Southern India fanned out over 100 acres of land to create a unique learning environment. JCD Horticultural College is affiliated to Dr. Y.S.R. Horticultural University, Venkatramannagudem, (West Godavari Dist), Andhra Pradesh.

By keeping tremendous potentiality of horticulture sector in the view, vision of J.C. Diwakar Horticultural College, Tadipatri is to enhance the growth of horticulture sector, improve farm income and ensure nutritional security to the people by providing leadership in teaching and extension services in horticulture and allied farm science sectors of Andhra Pradesh. Mr. J.C.Diwakar Reddy garu is a renowned & irreplaceable Personality in A.P, who hails from an agricultural family, is one of the most experienced Politicians both at the State & Central levels.
He represented Anantapuramu Constituency as a Member of Parliament, Served as Member of Assembly for 30 Consecutive years & also extended his services as a minister in the State government of Andhra Pradesh for many years.
Being a clean enthusiastic of Horticulture he felt the very need for skillful Horticultural Graduates to serve the farming society. Hence, he incorporated the idea of starting this college which meets the needs of Horticultural aspirants by providing salubrious and sound infrastructure with highly equipped laboratories in an extensive farming land located near his native Village Juturu.

Horticulture gives more return than the field crops, the horticultural crops are important as its nutritional element is high, It is potential sector with lot of opportunities of employment generation, foreign exchange earnings and overall supporting livelihood sustenance of mankind at large.
